2Baba, whose real name is Innocent Ujah Idibia, is a legendary artist from Nigeria. He has recently ended his long-term relationship with Now Muzik CEO Efe Omorogbe.
Now Muzik revealed the news on Wednesday via an Instagram post the pair made together.
The statement states that the mutual disagreement is effective immediately.
Omorogbe thanked 2Baba, calling their collaboration “beyond work.”
While he was enjoying the fruits of his relationship with 2Baba, which lasted for twenty years, he made a pledge that he and his firm would always be there to cheer on the singer.
A large portion of 2Baba’s professional success, he added, “is due to Efe and his crew at Now Muzik.”
“But every good thing must come to an end,” he remarked, adding that he is still thankful.
Following his departure from The Plantashun Boiz in 2004, 2Baba signed with Now Muzik management, as previously reported by DAILY POST.
Hypertek Digital, the singer’s new management company, has taken over his representation.
