Post-Umuahia NPFL draw, Agagbe praises Lobi Stars players

The head coach of the Lobi Stars, Eugene Agagbe, has said that the players’ effort was the key to their team’s 1-1 draw on the road against the Abia Warriors.

Despite the hosts’ best efforts, Agagbe’s team was only able to draw a draw.

At the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday (today), Lobi Stars and Abia Warriors played to a 1-1 draw.

The home team’s Fabian Omaka scored in the 70th minute, but John Victor scored a free-kick equalizer in the 94th minute.

In an interview conducted after the game, he expressed his happiness and thanked the players for their efforts.

I appreciate their grit and determination throughout the game.

“Their determination to reach their goal is evident.”

With 43 points after 24 games, Lobi Stars have maintained their top-of-the-table position.
